PDI Flood Advocacy Rserach Officer Holds meeting with PDMA - Operational Head .

                                       Participatory Development Initiatives ( PDI ) Flood Advocacy Research officer Saleem Abbasi on 12.06-2012 held meeting with Provincial Disaster Management Authority ( PDMA ) Operational Director Ikhlaq Ahmed which was held at his office . In the meeting PDI team member discussed 2012 Provincial Disaster Contingency Plan devised by PDMA to cope challenges of anticipated monnson, riverine floods , flash floods and reviews and gaps in 2012  Disaster Contingency Plans prepared by districts and over all provincial 2012 Disaster Contingency Plan of Sindh province of Pakistan .         

PDI Rserach official discussed PDMA officials regrading issues facing by 2010 water flood and 2011 rain flood communities in the province  and the role of SIDA , and capacity buildings of district's flood related departments and activates DDMAs and further strengthen their capacity buildings , gaps and issues to implements disaster contingency plans  and vulnerable embankments points and other natural disaster risk hazards, and budget issues  discussed in the meeting.
